Hi, my name’s Clay and I’m the Owner & Lead Game Master of Quantum Lore Enterprises!

I have always had a vivid imagination. I deeply enjoyed playing pretend with my friends and family as a child. However, I just never got to experience the joy of tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) until I was already an adult. I remember it vividly: I played my very first session of Dungeons & Dragons in 2019 with a group of strangers that I found through Meetup at a cafe in Arlington, Virginia. I played a 1st-Level Human Druid, named Pythia, who was the oracle of her tribe, called upon to leave home and fulfill her destiny. In that moment, it unlocked a depth of creativity within me that completely changed my life.

From that moment on, playing (and eventually running) these games seized me: mind, body, and soul. I began voraciously consuming TTRPG content and seeking to learn everything I could about this beautiful hobby. While I still deeply enjoy being a player, I’ve become convinced there is no satisfaction quite like being a Game Master. The opportunity to construct entire universes filled with people, places, and things, and then to get to watch other people not only enjoy what you’ve created, but add to it and expand upon it in their own unique ways, is unparalleled.

In the last few years, I’ve grown in my Game Mastering capacity in ways I never could have dreamed of when I first started. I’ve run multiple, successful, paid campaigns where I provided my clients with the highest level of immersion. I am now extremely proud to be able to call myself a Professional Game Master, among many other titles, and I am deeply excited to be able to offer my services to those who are looking to expand their horizons of what they thought was possible.

Around 2023, I went through many very intense and transformative personal awakenings in regard to my mental health. I realized that I had no boundaries for myself and had been spreading myself thin for other people my entire life. I felt somewhat listless and unmotivated in my career as a whole. I very quickly realized that playing these games was helping me to find purpose in life. I immediately set out to make tabletop roleplaying games the center of my work. But more than that, I saw the immense potential for these games to catalyze our growth as humans. I hope to be able to help others grow in similar ways.
